Centric has recorded record attendance at this year's customer day in Stuttgart: More than 200 participants have registered for Centric Customer Day 2025 in Stuttgart – more than ever before. The strong interest reflects the growing importance of specialized HR services in the SAP ecosystem, in which Centric is one of the leading providers.
“We are delighted with the strong response and see it as a clear signal that HR topics are developing at a rapid pace,” says Steven Wernike, Managing Director of Centric Germany. “The Customer Day program focuses on expertise, industry practice, and inspiration – while also providing an opportunity for dialogue within the HR IT community.”
A central topic of this year's program is SAP's strategy for the future of payroll accounting with a view to Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Another topic is the growing importance of Joule AI as an intelligent assistant that supports processes in SAP systems with generative AI, automation, and natural language interaction – including in add-ons and additional solutions such as those offered by Centric.“SAP's future strategy is of crucial importance to us and our customers,” emphasizes Jens-Peter Hess, also managing director of Centric Germany. “Our task is to accompany companies on this journey, to make the changes understandable and to provide them with the right solutions – or to develop and build them together.”
Together with experts from SAP, Centric is also introducing a new solution: SAP SuccessFactors Enterprise Service Management (ESM). ESM enables HR departments to digitally integrate complex HR processes across multiple steps and map them using AI-supported case management and automated HR workflows. “For many companies, ESM is the next logical step in digital HR transformation,” explains Centric Managing Director Jens Peter Hess. “In conjunction with SuccessFactors, it creates a modern, service-oriented platform that goes far beyond traditional ticket systems.”
Centric is also using Customer Day to provide insights into its own product development. Among other things, it will be presenting further developments in audit and compliance tools toward cloud-based solutions—such as the new Auditloop product—as well as innovations in HR document solutions designed specifically for international organizations. “The SAP world is moving to the cloud,” emphasizes Centric Managing Director Steven Wernicke. “We support our customers in mapping audit and compliance processes in the cloud in line with SAP's strategy – but of course we also continue to offer solutions for on-premise environments such as H4S4.”
The technical program will be complemented by a customer panel discussion and practical experience reports, including from representatives of RWE and Clariant. At the end of the day, a prominent guest will provide a change of perspective: former professional soccer player and German national team member Cacau will speak in his keynote address about leadership, motivation, and team dynamics – topics that are increasingly decisive for success beyond the playing field.
In addition to its established audit and compliance tools and solutions for HR document processes, Centric also presented the new SAP SuccessFactors Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solution.
This SAP solution enables HR departments to evolve into modern service organizations through the targeted use of workflows, centralized case management, and document-based self-services. We were interested to see that many visitors wanted to discuss this topic in depth. We were particularly pleased with the high quality of the discussions, which provided valuable impetus for joint projects and collaborations. Another highlight was the close exchange with our partners and SAP, which further enriched the event. The discussions clearly showed that Centric is on the right track with its products and services to best support the current and future requirements of its customers.
