Centric releases Spring Release 2025 for HR document solutions

With Spring Release 2025, Centric introduces new features and enhancements to its digital HR document solutions.

With its Spring Release 2025, Centric is introducing new features and enhancements for its digital HR document solutions. The software provider is focusing on sophisticated functional enhancements, stronger process support, and even deeper SAP integration.

The updates affect the four core products—Employee File, Document Builder, Payslip Box Plus, and Reference Letter—as well as several cross-product enhancements to increase efficiency and improve integration with SAP environments.

Employee files: Improved overview and easier system changeover

The digital personnel file is receiving several practical enhancements, such as an Excel export for trash documents, including associated personal data—an innovation that improves traceability in HR document processes. Fine-grained recipient control for email delivery increases security when sending documents. Optimized full-text search for file borrowing and a display of documents to be filed provide greater clarity in day-to-day business.

The new migration wizard provides technical support and structured guidance for changing the master data system, for example, from SAP HCM to SAP SuccessFactors. Documents and templates: More automation, more control Centric Document Builder has also been comprehensively revised:

Centric Document Builder has also been comprehensively revised: New help texts support users in document creation, and the mail merge functionality has been accelerated and improved. Placeholder groups with key date references and filters for employee queries expand the personalization options. Nested text modules are now possible up to 12 levels deep.

In addition, a new validation system ensures that placeholders, text modules, and data sources are used correctly.

These features not only increase the consistency and quality of the documents generated, but also the independence of HR departments.

Document provision: convenience for employees, control for HR

The confidential employee document box Payslip Box Plus has also been further improved. Documents can now be sorted by deletion date, and a new test function for email configurations makes setup easier.

The administration now supports multiple jobs and offers advanced filter, sort, and search functions for HR administrators. User-friendliness has also been further enhanced. This is ensured by additional options for filtering in the logging and status display of individual documents.

Even more personalized and transparent reference letter

Our certificate generator Centric Referencec Letter has also been enhanced with useful new features: In the assessment section, an overall average grade can now be displayed on request. Grades are now displayed with text variants in a drop-down menu, making the assessment easier to understand.

Another new feature is assessment sections that can be expanded or collapsed as desired. This improves clarity in complex reports.

Cross-product innovations: consistency and performance

As with every release, several functions have been improved system-wide: These include an extension of the filter and sort functions in Process Monitoring and the ability to flexibly configure and display comments in processes. System performance has been increased through additional resources and code optimization.

In addition, the switch to SAP UI5 version 1.120 (including “Morning Horizon Theme”) is being implemented gradually for all products.

Overall, Spring Release 2025 focuses on well-thought-out functional enhancements, stronger process support, and even deeper SAP integration. Centric is thus strengthening its position as a reliable provider of HR document solutions for SAP systems.
