With the current Summer Release 2025, Centric Cloud Solutions is introducing with its ePost API a new feature for the automated delivery of documents by post. The ePost integration in Payslip Box Plus makes it possible to physically deliver payroll-related documents such as statements, certificates, or welcome letters directly from the cloud application—in compliance with GDPR, automated, and without media discontinuity.
“We know that a small number of users still prefer to receive documents such as pay slips by post,” says Hans-Peter Hess, Managing Director of Centric Cloud Solutions. “With the ePost integration, we offer companies even more flexibility in HR digitization. They can digitize their document processes end-to-end while ensuring that exceptions are possible without resulting in manual effort for the HR department.”
At the heart of the expansion is a new application for configuring and managing letter templates. Here, companies can centrally store letterhead, sender and subject lines, and text modules. Optionally, a QR code can be integrated into the template, which, depending on the use case, links to the login page or directly to the Payslip Box.
"Letter dispatch can be activated or deactivated individually for individual payslip boxes. This is controlled on two levels: both at the level of the respective document type and within the box itself. Documents that are intended for mailing are collected, provided with a cover sheet, and transferred to ePost via Centric Employee File at a later time. This ensures that mailing processes are efficiently bundled and traceable.
A special feature is the ability to automatically create and send welcome letters with activation codes when a new payslip box is created. The prerequisite is that password users are selected by letter and address data is included in the import. This enables a seamless onboarding process – even for employees who do not yet have a company email address.
The distribution logic takes into account, among other things, PDF format, activation status of the box, document type assignment, and repetitions. The delay until actual dispatch can be configured on a client-specific basis. In addition, new filter options are available to identify boxes with potential duplicates and merge them if necessary. In the course of further releases, Centric plans to make ePost integration available in other HR document solutions such as the Centric Employee File digital personnel file and Centric Document Builder.
